Sumptuous Apartment in Sweden With Fascinating Decors

This lavish 1,625 square foot (151 square meters) apartment overlooking Hammarby Lake in Stockholm, Sweden, certainly has what it takes to get you impressed and inspired. Combining vintage details with state-of-the-art modern furniture pieces, the crib has a unique style. The core of this Scandinavian loft is a large living room, featuring plenty of seating units- the perfect place to have friends and family over. There may not be a fireplace to adorn this room, but the five lovely pendant lamps and vintage furniture bring so much warmth to this room, that no supplementary heat source is needed. Painted entirely in gray, this interior is definitely not what one would call “gloomy”, but a room inspiring sumptuousness and an overall appealing feel. We invite you to have a look at the photos in this post and leave your opinions regarding the colors and arrangements the designer chose for this apartment. Do you find this design approach impressive or too extravagant?

The $2.5 Million Tastefully Decorated Swedish Loft Exuding Coziness

With an impressive interior, this Swedish loft located in the attic of an old house dating from the beginning of the 20th century (Kungsholmen, Stockholm) is now for sale. You can purchase it for a staggering price of $2.5 million. Exuding coziness, the apartment is the perfect choice for those in search of a home in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan and exclusive cities. Among Stockholm’s main assets, the exciting cultural life and the unicity of its’ architecture, I’d like to highlight its numerous number of islands and the bohemian atmosphere encompassing the city. Yes, these may be less important than the house itself or the way it makes you feel, but they continue to wield influence over you when in doubt.

The apartment displays a neat and airy interior (boasting five tastefully decorated rooms). Envisioned as an open plan lounge area, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room open up to the terrace, where you can have tea while enjoying the stylish urban environment. “Sophistication” is the best word to describe the interior of this loft. White walls and gorgeous furniture items adorn the living room area. Despite the modern whiff characterising it, traditional elements such as the exposed beams have been also inserted to mirror the Scandinavian style.

Lined Up in a Romantic Way: Comete Jewelry Store in Milan

We received some photos of the original Comete jewelry store from Studio Apostoli, a company also working in the field of concept design. The project is located in Milan, Italy, and focuses on senses and emotions dealt with in a practical way . Here is more from the press release we were sent: “The idea is born from the “claim” of the well known brand Comete – “Romanticamente schierati” (lined up in a romantic way) – that places side by side a rich intimate dimension of feelings and emotions and a rational and pragmatic attitude. The sale point becomes a luminous backdrop punctuated by illuminated (led) circular display windows of three different dimensions that seem to fluctuate on a hypothetical horizon. The light of the backdrop keep changing creating itself emotions and games always different during not only the day but also based on the seasons or to the various periodic or thematic occasions.” From a point of view of a potential customer- does this jewelry store design make a strong impression?
